Jamie Webb Program

The Jamie Webb Initiation Program is operated by the Talbot County Community Center as an initiation to skating. Initial lessons focus on basic skating and balance. Later lessons involve use of a hockey stick and puck with a focus on edge control, starting, stopping, turning, etc. The Jamie Webb Program has skates available for these beginner skaters if they do not have their own as well as helmets to cushion those occasional tumbles.

While many Jamie Webb participants move on to the ESHA Rec or Travel programs, Jamie Webb offers a unique and fun introduction to skating for anyone, whatever their long-term interest.
