ALL PARENTS WILL:
- not criticize the officials or coaches unless they are ready, willing and able to assume their duties and do a better job.
- set an example of good sportsmanship for their child.
- shall remember that only six team members can be on the ice at any one time.
- not be critical unless willing to put forth the effort to correct their criticism.
- remember that all coaches, assistants, team mothers and board members are VOLUNTEER WORKERS.
- remember that, like you, all E.S.H.A. volunteers have families, jobs and other commitments.
- offer their services for volunteer work whenever possible throughout the year. All children benefit from our fund raisers and tournaments which help to defray costs.
- be supportive of your child, attend the games and CHEER THEM ON.
- REMEMBER THAT COACHES ARE NOT BABYSITTERS. Remember you are ultimately responsible for the actions of your child while they are at the rink or any other team function.
- be punctual and aware of starting and ending of practice times. Free time leads to mischief and trouble.
- conduct themselves as intelligent, civilized human beings.
- encourage your child to follow these expectations.
- REMEMBER, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
- remember that these are children. LEARNING to play a sport that they may love or already do love. DO NOT SAY OR DO ANYTHING WHICH WOULD HURT, DEGRADE, OR INSULT ANY PLAYER. IF YOU DO, DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF YOU ARE ASKED TO LEAVE.
- REMEMBER, IT'S JUST A GAME.
