Due to uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Washington Capitals have suspended their Learn To Play program. We will post updates on our website as they become available in the future. The Easton Ice Hawks do offer an in-house LTP program, if you are interested please contact me and I will be glad to discuss the opportunities that we have.

Interested in Learning to Play Hockey?
The Eastern Shore Hockey Association has partnered with the Washington Capitals to allow players and parents new to hockey to discover if the game is for them by helping to offset some of the start-up costs by offering learn to play hockey lessons and an equipment package at a deeply discounted rate.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Each participant will become a member of the Eastern Shore Hockey Association, receive eight weeks of on-ice hockey instruction, as well as receive the following new equipment:
Hockey helmet with a cage
Shoulder pads
Elbow pads
Hockey gloves
Hockey pants
Shin guards
Skates
Jersey
Socks
Stick
Equipment bag
In addition to the equipment provided, we recommend that you purchase a mouth guard and athletic supporter.
FEES
The program provides FREE head-to-toe equipment for your child to keep as they continue exploring youth hockey. However, there is a participation fee associated with the program which offsets ice and coaching expenses.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
1) Visit the Washington Capitals site at this link to register. Click the green "Sign Up To Play" button & then choose "Easton Ice Hawks Fall".
2) Sizing instructions are on the registration site and you will receive notice of when you can pick up your child's gear.
3) Check the schedule and we see you at the rink!
That's it, as simple as 1, 2, 3 and then your child hits the ice.
